JAKARTA: Cosmetics producer PT Martina Berto Tbk recorded a 102.31% jump in net profit to IDR22.92 billion in the first half of the year from IDR11.82 billion in the same period last year.As stated in its financial report published today, Martina Berto posted revenue at IDR293.49 billion, increasing 13.81% from IDR257.86 billion last year.At the same time, cost of good sales increased 12.14% to IDR135.11 billion in the first half of the year from IDR120.48 billion in the same period last year.The company also had gross profit increase 15.28% to IDR158.38 billion from IDR137.38 billion. Operating profit surged 48.96% to IDR25.86 billion from IDR17.36 billion.Earning before tax soared 95.52% to IDR30.75 billion from IDR15.72 billion, while operating expenses increased 10.41% to IDR132.51 billion from IDR120.02 billion.Short-term liabilities dropped 20.56% to IDR131.91 billion in the first half of the year from IDR166.07 billion in the same period last year.The companys equities jumped 245.14% to IDR403.54 billion from IDR116.91 billion.
