JAKARTA: PT Asuransi Wahana Tata plans to establish Sharia business unit by next year on high market demand.The company is yet penetrating Sharia business unit merely due to limited human resources who comprehend insurance business employing Sharia principle.Besides, as he added, insurance employing Sharia principle uses different regulation with any conventional insurance.We shall discuss such plan during this years shareholders meeting. Yet, I cannot ensure that after the Sharia unit establishment, whether or not we shall acquire other Sharia insurance unit, he said recently.Aswatas gross revenue soared by 66% to IDR565 billion in January-May 2011 compared to the same period last year.
