JAKARTA: PT AKR Corporindo Tbk posted IDR1.95 trillion net profits or a 1,291% increase throughout the first half of 2011 from IDR140 billion in the same period a year earlier.AKRs consolidated financial statement released today shows that the companys revenue along with its subsidiary rose 73.5% to IDR9.06 trillion from IDR5.22 trillion in the first half of 2010.Meanwhile, its operating expenses declined IDR41.03 billion to IDR196 billion.The companys total assets rose to IDR8.11 trillion from IDR7.66 trillion last year and increased 34.3% from IDR6.04 trillion in 2009.At 12:00 pm, the AKRA-coded shares strengthened 250 points to 2850, the highest over last week.AKR Corporindo engages in distribution of basic chemicals and fuels for mining sector, electricity, industrial company and commercial.
